pet respect and animal care

i've been working as a volunteer for ecovet, an organisation for animal rights and protection for almost a year now. currently, we are trying to implement an education programme for school children aged 7-11 years. the wspa have kindly given us permission to translate and adapt their animal care manual. and again i am a dog's sociologist, as i've been drafting a questionnaire to test children's knowledge & perception of and attitude towards dogs, both woth guardian and strays. i certainly hope we can start implementing the pilot course this school year and keep your fingers crossed that the results are relevant enough so that we may continue trying to build pet respect in order to improve these animal's lives. bark on!
